Germany unveils first Leopard 2A7A1 Main Battle Tank equipped with Trophy Active Protection System. Making incoming projectiles and missiles harmless before they hit the armor: that is the task of Trophy, the new active protection system of the German army’s Leopard 2 main battle tank. With its sensors and launchers, the system forms an invisible protective shield around the powerful weapons system of the armored forces. The new Leopard 2A7A1 tanks are scheduled to be fully delivered by 2025
