With just over a week to go until the UK’s leading defence procurement event, DPRTE 2025, kicks off – this time bringing two full days of opportunities to learn, network and collaborate – we take a look at what delegates can expect to see this year.
Defence Online is proud to be the media partner for The Defence Procurement, Research, Technology & Exportability (DPRTE) event, which is set to return on March 26-27, 2025, at the Farnborough International Exhibition and Conference Centre. As the UK’s leading defence procurement and supply chain event, DPRTE 2025 promises to be a pivotal gathering for stakeholders across the defence sector, offering unparalleled opportunities for networking, learning, and collaboration.
DPRTE 2025 will bring together key decision-makers, suppliers, and industry experts from the defence and security sectors. Following the success of previous events, this is the first year DPRTE will be held over two days – giving delegates the opportunity to explore the wider defence landscape and hear from some of the important figures in defence procurement today.
Speakers
Leading the keynote is Maria Eagle MP, Minister for Defence Procurement and Industry, and with over 100 speakers from across the defence spectrum, you can be sure to hear about some of they key trends and topics shaping the defence procurement landscape.
Other speakers not to be missed include, Andrew Kinniburgh, Director General of Make UK Defence, who will discuss the vital role of UK defence suppliers and the importance of collaboration between SMEs and major primes. Avril Jolliffe, Director General of Industry, Trade and Economic Security at the Ministry of Defence, will focus on industrial strategy, exports, economic and investment security, space, and climate change. Claire Benham, Commercial Director at the Defence Infrastructure Organisation (DIO), will share insights on commercial strategies and innovations within the DIO. Aimie Stone, Chief Economist at ADS, will provide an overview of economic trends affecting the defence sector, while Alistair Leuchars, Deputy Director of Cyber & Digital at ADS Group, will cover advancements in cyber and digital technologies.
