DPRTE is a unique opportunity for some of the most important players in UK MOD procurement, global defence procurement and supply chain corporations and innovative SMEs to meet in the same venue.

Rolls-Royce is one of the most famous names in UK defence for creating engines and power units for the defence sector since it was founded in 1904.

Visitors can book appointments for 1-2-1 meetings with representatives of Rolls-Royce in the DPRTE  Prime Contractor and Supply Chain Pavilion.

Simon Burges, Managing Director of DPRTE, said: “Rolls-Royce has produced some of the most iconic engines in British military history – the Spitfire’s Merlin engine and the Olympus gas turbine which powered a generation of Royal Navy warships as well as the Vulcan member and Concorde.

“We’re delighted that Rolls-Royce is joining us because DPRTE offers a unique opportunity for businesses of all sizes to meet and network with each other and with the decision makers in Government Defence procurement. DPRTE’s partners such as Rolls-Royce, Airbus, Lockheed Martin, QinetiQ, Serco, Babcock and BAE Systems makes DPRTE the premier defence sector event in the UK.”

With more than 1,500 delegates from the UK MOD, academia and industry attending, and a new Infrastructure zone, DPRTE 2020 will be the largest gathering of key people from across the UK’s £20 billion-plus annual defence acquisition and supply chain marketplace.

The Royal Navy and British Army along with MOD and defence organisations including DE&S, Dstl, DIO, the Submarine Delivery Agency and Crown Commercial Service are also attending DPRTE 2020. The event is also attracting delegates from abroad including the US Department of Defense and the Australian Department of Defence.
