The Submarine Delivery Agency is the latest defence organisation to have been confirmed to appear at Defence Procurement, Research, Technology & Exportability (DPRTE) 2019 taking place at the Farnborough International Exhibition and Conference Centre on 28 March.

The Submarine Delivery Agency will line up alongside the likes of other MOD bodies such as the Defence Infrastructure Organisation (DIO); Defence Equipment ad Support (DE&S), Defence and Security Accelerator (DASA); and the Defence Science and Technology Laboratory (Dstl) at the UK’s premier defence procurement event.

DPRTE 2019 brings together buyers, suppliers and defence thought leaders in an engaging environment where they can network and discuss the latest market developments and opportunities.

Attendees will have access to the DPRTE Product Showcase Exhibition (featuring over 125 suppliers), Live Keynote Arena, five Knowledge Transfer Zones and seven Networking and Collaboration Zones.

Launched in April 2018, The Submarine Delivery Agency (SDA) is an Executive Agency of the Ministry of Defence with a remit to lead a high-performing, industrial enterprise to deliver the United Kingdom’s submarine capability safely and securely, and more effectively and cost-efficiently every year.

Ruth Todd, Commercial Director of SDA will speak on supply chain management at the Supply Chain and Partnering Zone, which will also feature the likes of Airbus; Boeing; GE Aviation; and DxC Technology delivering sessions on supply chain opportunities available on current and future projects.
