The agreement has a three-year base period plus three one-year option periods, with a ceiling value of $213 million, if all option years are exercised.
Under the terms of the contract, Serco will compete for task orders to deliver: data and information management; engineering, IT system and network support; information assurance and cyber security; software analysis; hardware maintenance and development; and business process reengineering. Delivery would provide on-site and off-site support to Naval officers, program managers and analysts for multiple commands at multiple geographic locations.
Dave Dacquino, Serco’s Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, said: “We have supported the Navy and their personnel community commands for over 30 years. A position on this IDIQ allows Serco to expand our personnel readiness services in support of the U.S. military.
“We understand the mission critical importance of personnel readiness, and are prepared to deliver a full suite of IT tools and technologies.”
