Aurora is currently in negotiations with DE&S to become the department’s Engineering Delivery Partner later on in the year, and the partnership is now seeking expressions of interest from fellow engineers to join a growing provider network and drive lasting benefit.
Aurora Engineering Partnership is inviting any company that has the know-how to help deliver increased performance and productivity across DE&S to register their interest by visiting www.auroraengineeringpartnership.co.uk. Here, companies will be kept up-to-date on the procurement process and all associated events.
Dr Gordon Barr, Managing Director of Aurora Engineering Partnership and Business Development Director at QinetiQ said: “The Aurora Engineering Partnership has been formed by the three companies to embed innovative delivery approaches that span DE&S engineering service requirements, delivering the right thing, first time, safely and within budget.”
Roy Quilliam, Strategic Pursuit Director for Maritime at BMT added: “I firmly believe that, together with an agile provider network of specialist companies, Aurora can make a rapid, real and timely difference to the DE&S and the Front Line Commands.”
The Aurora Engineering Partnership will bring together cross-sector and non-defence experience, join-up new ways of working and build an impressive network of niche and specialist SMEs, driving efficiencies and savings through the delivery of first-class engineering services.
Dave Clark, Divisional Business Development Director for SNC-Lavalin’s Atkins business, concluded: “Collaboration is at the heart of our DNA and we are very pleased to join likeminded, leading organisations and recruit a provider network that will deliver military advantage for DE&S and the wider MOD.”
