4. Description: The Awarding Authority invites expressions of interest from contractors to provide a vessel and skipper for marine monitoring at the Specified Location. The Cypris station is located roughly 3.5 km off the coast of Bradda Head. This contract will consists of biweekly trips to the Cypris station in order for an officer from the Department of Environment, Food and Agriculture to conduct routine monitoring of various physical and biological parameters.
Timescale for the hire will be for 3 years from May 2025 to April 2028.
The hire service will include:
Sampling trips every two weeks to the Cypris Monitoring Station.
Sampling trips will be approximately four hours.
Frequent vessel checks to ensure the vessel is seaworthy and safe.
Additional trips may be added subject to monitoring or maintenance requirements
