Raytheon UK, part of RTX’s Raytheon business, has secured a two-year extension of its Command and Staff Training contract, continuing a decades-long partnership with the British Army. The extension reaffirms Raytheon UK’s commitment to providing cutting-edge, technology-enabled solutions to meet the evolving needs of modern military operations.

“With today’s fast-changing threat environment, it’s crucial that we equip our forces—and those of our NATO allies—with the most advanced and responsive training available,” said Gillian Dowds, head of Training Transformation Services at Raytheon UK. “Our extended partnership with the British Army allows us to continue developing capabilities that transform how military training is delivered.”

Over the past three decades Raytheon UK has provided command and staff training for the British army and NATO, innovating its approach to training by integrating live, virtual, and constructive training environments that enhance realism and provide near real-time feedback to soldiers. At the heart of the training is Raytheon’s Advanced Battlespace Computer Simulation System, which supports large-scale complex exercises such as NATO’s ongoing Exercise Cerberus.

As global security challenges intensify, Raytheon UK remains at the forefront of delivering comprehensive solutions that ensure British and allied forces are ready to face any mission with confidence and capability.
