Defence Online will be hosting its latest webinar ‘Design Issue Applications for Aerospace & Defence’ on Thursday October 27th at 10am.

During this latest discussion we’ll hear from two acknowledged experts in the field of design issue applications for the aerospace and defence sectors, our guests: Flavien Heurtier from Greenray Industries and Andy Treble of Euroquartz.

Together they’ll provide the benefit of their experience working with defence and aerospace, as they use case study material to explore:

  • The UK-based production of military grade clock oscillators
  • The benefits of UK-based production in the context of the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR)
  • Commercial ‘Off the Shelf’ product reliability and traceability
  • High Specification Design for aerospace and defence projects – in the form of a TCXO (Temperature compensated crystal oscillator) case study
  • Acceleration Sensitivity of oscillators in high vibration applications
  • MEM’s oscillators by comparison to quartz-based designs

This briefing will also include a Q&A, where attendees can put questions to the speakers, so it should make for a lively, learning-packed half hour.
