The agenda for the DIO-hosted Infrastructure and Estates Pavilion at Defence Procurement, Research, Technology & Exportability (DPRTE) 2020 has been released.

In a unique link up, DPRTE 2020 will see the Defence Infrastructure Organisation (DIO) host an Infrastructure and Estates Pavilion for the first time. The space will allow both buyers and suppliers to connect with key DIO personnel and gain an insight into the latest initiatives, developments and opportunities within defence infrastructure

In a first for the event, visitors can head to the Infrastructure and Estates Pavilion to hear direct from DIO about the opportunities within defence infrastructure.

The newly released agenda has revealed that Jacqui Rock, DIO’s Commercial Director will open proceedings at the Pavilion and be followed by other key figures in defence infrastructure including David Brewer, DIO Chief Operating Officer; Simon Donnan, DIO Head of Delivery Support; Brigadier James Crawford, Assistant Chief of Staff for Infrastructure, Joint Forces Command; and David Marsh, Director of Major Programmes and Projects

DIO is undergoing a commercial transformation following last year’s launch of its Commercial Strategy, with the aim of making it easier for the supply chain to engage with the organisation.

Likewise, DIO’s Procurement Plan outlines its strategy on construction and infrastructure. This marks the first time the organisation has outlined its priorities to existing and potential suppliers.

DPRTE is now established as the UK’s leading annual defence procurement and supply chain event. The one-day event offers an unrivalled opportunity for defence sector personnel to engage with organisations of all sizes across industry.

Sponsorship and exhibition opportunities are now available. For further details, please email exhibitions@dprte.co.uk or call 0845 270 7066.
