Running in partnership with key defence organisations and trade associations including DE&S, Dstl, ADS and NDI, DPRTE will return to Cardiff’s Motorpoint Arena on 27 March 2018.

DPRTE 2018 will bring buyers, suppliers and defence thought leaders up to speed with the latest industry developments and market opportunities. These developments and opportunities will be discussed and disseminated through the Product Showcase Exhibition (featuring over 125 suppliers), Live Keynote Arena, four Knowledge Transfer Zones and five Networking and Collaboration Zones.

Product Showcase Exhibition

The DPRTE 2018 Product Showcase Exhibition will provide organisations of all sizes with a unique opportunity to showcase their products and services directly to those key decision makers who are actively engaged within the defence acquisition supply chain.

Visitors will have the opportunity to meet directly with the UK’s leading defence suppliers, who will be demonstrating a vast arrange of innovative solutions designed to meet today’s evolving market needs and future requirements.

The Showcase will also provide a networking and engagement platform for organisations to foster and develop new collaborative partnerships that, through working together, create opportunities for business growth.

Live Keynote Arena

The must-attend DPRTE 2018 Live Keynote Arena will host a range of the leading and most influential speakers from across the defence and security supply chain marketplace. Attendees will have an invaluable opportunity to hear directly from those personnel who are actively engaged in both setting and delivering the direction of the UK’s defence procurement and supply chain strategy.

Knowledge Transfer Zones

DPRTE 2018 will host four unique Knowledge Transfer Zones designed specifically to enhance the knowledge and skills of all attendees, both buyers and suppliers, who are engaged within the defence acquisition supply chain.

Each interactive training zone will feature a range of educational sessions, allowing attendees to learn and share ideas in relation to four key themes – Technology & Innovation; Supply Chain & Partnering; Buyer Procurement Knowledge & Skills; and Export & Business Growth.

New for 2018, the DPRTE Defence Procurement Pavilion will provide visitors with an unrivalled opportunity to engage directly with key procurement organisations such as DE&S, who are responsible for setting procurement strategy and delivering the MOD’s annual procurement spend of over £19 billion.

Whether you are looking to develop new or existing working relationships, the DPRTE Defence Procurement Pavilion will bring together many of the key organisations and personnel representing the defence procurement sector.

Defence Procurement and Support Zone

Facilitated in conjunction with PASS (Procurement Advice and Support Service), the dedicated DPRTE Defence Procurement and Support Zone will provide both buyers and industry representatives with an opportunity to obtain advice and guidance on a host of topics relating to the overall public procurement process and business development within the defence marketplace.

For buyers, this area gives you access to procurement experts who will be on hand to answer any questions that you may have relating to the procurement process and associated legislative issues.

For industry, the zone will host and demonstrate a range of the leading procurement solutions that are specifically designed to increase your knowledge, insight and opportunity to win more business across the defence and wider public sector.

Innovation Zone

The defence sector relies heavily on technology and innovation to develop new solutions to meet the myriad evolving challenges it faces; however, bringing a new product or service to the market can be difficult if you don’t know how.

The Innovation Zone at DPRTE 2018 will provide attendees with the opportunity to meet with key organisations who can help and advise on bringing products and services to market within a science and technology programme worth over £400 million a year.

Each area of DPRTE brings partnership, sponsorship and exhibition opportunities, allowing companies to increase their profile and business within this lucrative marketplace.
