Harriett Baldwin, the Parliamentary Under Secretary of State and Minister for Defence Procurement, will take to the stage this spring to address the defence community at DPRTE 2018.

Ms Baldwin was elected as the Member of Parliament for West Worcestershire in May 2010, where she has lived since 2006. As a backbencher, she represented the UK on the NATO Parliamentary Assembly, sat on the Work and Pensions Select Committee, was Chair of the All-party Parliamentary Group for Russia and Vice-chair of the All-party Parliamentary Group for Occupational Pensions.

She was appointed the Prime Minister’s Trade Envoy to Russia before joining the Government in February 2014 as Assistant Government Whip, then Lord Commissioner to HM Treasury. Following her re-election in 2015, Ms Baldwin became Economic Secretary to the Treasury (City Minister). In the July 2016 reshuffle, she was appointed Minister for Defence Procurement.
