Raytheon has secured a potential $1bn contract to build an early warning radar system for integration into Qatar’s air and missile defence capability. US Air Force Life Cycle Management Center in Massachusetts has awarded the sole-source contract as part of a foreign military sales deal between the US and Qatar.
