Jim Pennycook, Head of Operations at CDE, will introduce CDE and give an overview of proof-of-concept research funding opportunities for innovative science and technology providers. While technical experts from Dstl will provide specific information about the themed competition: ‘beyond battery power’, with up to £750,000 available for fully funded phase-1 projects.
Further information will also be provided by the technical experts from Dstl about another themed competition: ‘synthetic biology for transparent materials’. This competition also has up to £750,000 available for fully funded phase-1 projects.
Bruce Hardie, CDE Technology Manager will brief on what CDE is all about, our funding opportunities and how to work with us.
In addition, Bruce will talk about how to create a great CDE proposal for CDE funding.
Attendees will be able to book a face-to-face meeting with CDE and Dstl subject matter experts to discuss potential proposals to the above competitions once they have signed up for the main event.
There’ll be networking opportunities with other potential bidders, current Dstl suppliers, CDE, Dstl and military experts.
